​First Shows in LA​

​The band's first shows in LA were off to a strong start with their first national television appearance, March 28, 1984. Popular talk show Thicke of the Night brought Bon Jovi on for three songs and a brief interview with host Alan Thicke. When asked about what made this lineup click, Jon responded, "It's like one big family. Bon Jovi is my last name, and like my mom says, she's got four other sons."​
