ACE in Front of The Fast Lane

In an interview with Asbury Park Press, Jon's childhood friend, Peter Mantas, who managed Atlantic City Expressway, recalled the band playing the Fast Lane "two years in a row of Sundays with no more than 20 people.” ​

Mantas recalls, “In 1978, ’79, we were still going to school and coming home from rock clubs all over New Jersey. Asbury Park holds a special place in my heart and Jon’s for sure, because it was our Disneyland...The Fast Lane was our place.” ​
